Family Fun Day August 2023

Windy weather did not put off the hundreds of visitors who attended our 2023 Family Fun Day. It certainly was a great day, with plenty of fun and laughter. There were many highlights to the day, with plenty of variety of activities for all ages to enjoy.

Children were able to get up close to the Creepy Crawly Creatures, being introduced to spiders, and snakes, etc that they may not have seen before. Great fun was had in the Play Bus, which just happened to be located near the very popular Ice Cream van.

The Dog Show included such a range of classes that gave the opportunity for many proud owners to show off their pride and joy. It was wonderful to see so many prize winners walking round with their rosettes.

Local charities and organisations were able to chat to so many people, raising awareness of what they do – ranging from The Marine Conservation Society, Denbighshire Countryside Services, Hedgehog Help Prestatyn , Prestatyn Environmental Association, Friends of the Ffrith, Prestatyn Men’s Shed plus members of the Church of the Holy Spirit and the Festival Church.

We would like to thank everyone who attended for sharing our day. Particular thanks go out to everyone who helped out on the day – we certainly couldn’t have had such a great day without you.
